I got this email during Chinese new year from Joanne of Think Contemporary Interior and Architecture Design . They send me couple of pictures of their recent work ( a tea shop design and decor). Over the email i manage to find more about how the concept and design come about
I like the use of darker shade colour for the walls as it bring more ambient and cosy to the room and the place is decoration with picture frame and books making more comfortable as you walk in to the shop. Just love the detail of the table top it cover with modern design picture.
And quote from Joanne
We wanted to create a space that was comfortable, yet funky and different. Our client wanted to stripe away the pretense that is associated with tea, so we wanted something fresh and young.
We wanted to keep the wall colour sophisticated but not too mature so we opted for shades of grey and offset this with pops of vibrant colours on the frames and mirrors to create interest. The interior is very eclectic with a mix of retro and latino influences.
The space is about 1000sq ft altogether.
