Our recently completed Delta Faucet Canada Kitchen Faucet Contest could best be described with the word wow.
Wow, this is a georgeous kitchen faucet (shown here installed in our own kitchen):

Wow, did you know that we received the largest number of entries for any prior contest in the over 4 year history of DailyHomeRenoTips.com?
Its a fact.
Here are the breakdown of the entries we received, including for each of the three bonus entry opportunities:
- 12,233 - Daily Entries
- 75 - Bonus Entry #1
- 48 - Bonus Entry #2
- 48 - Bonus Entry #3
- 12,404 - Total Entries
Wow, a lot of people got the wrong answer to the first two bonus entry opportunities. This is surprising because both were very, very easy; at least the first one was.
The first bonus entry opportunity ask the following multiple choice question:
According to both of the Experience Installing Delta Faucet’s Addison Lavatory Faucet – Part 1 and Part 2 articles, where should one start the faucet installation?
The correct answer, taken directly from not one but two articles on our installation experience with the Delta Faucet Addison lavatory faucet (in fact it was even highlighted in both articles) was:
Begin by reviewing the Delta Faucets How To Videos
Sadly, all the entrants had to do (and were instructed to do) was to review to the above mentioned two articles. Yet, of the 116 total entries into Bonus Entry Opportunity #1, 41 entries were wrong and only 75 were correct.
The second bonus entry opportunity asked contestants to:
There were per the above 48 correct entries and 21 incorrect entries. The correct answer needed to include the point that Delta Faucets Touch2O.xt Technology® provided not only the tap on, tap off ability for the faucet water flow but also, and here is where the xt part of the Delta Faucets Touch2O.xt Technology® comes in, that you dont even need to tough the facuet to turn on or off; all you need to do is to have your hand, elbow, etc. come near to the faucet for it to turn on and off.
OK, so that one might have been a little tricky; yet, it is right there on the DeltaFaucet.ca web site.
Wow, goes to how fast the randomly selected winner got back to us to confirm their eligibility.
The winner of the Delta Faucet Canada Kitchen Faucet Contest . ready Derek, because here comes your 15 minutes of fame is none other than Derek Crawley of Victoria, B.C.
