Since this month of March is National Bed Month, I found a few logical tips from the experts to help us achieve good sleep better:

1. Intending to catch up on sleep by staying in bed late this weekend? The prospect is so tempting and a lot of us actually make up for lost sleep during the week off. But experts say that keeping a regular bed time schedule with equal amounts of hours seven days a week is still healthier and better for our bodies.

2. The tendency to tire ourselves out just right before bedtime, such as doing workout and exercise routines, was believed to help our bodies sleep faster. While that is true, experts suggest however that exercises must be done at least hours before youre going to sleep. An afternoon workout will make your body cooler late in the evening. When youre bodys temperature is lower, you can get much better sleep this way.

3. Waking up in the middle of the night and unable to go back to bed? Dont force it. Instead, take ten to twenty minutes to get your body back in relax mode. Read or listen to relaxing musicinstead of just lying there stressing over how youre going to go back to sleep again. The anxiety will just keep you awake.

4. Most people hang out in the bedroom until they are sleepy. They do basically anything there including working on the laptop while in bed. Experts suggest that you get better sleep if you treat your bed as a sanctuary where work and other activities, except sleep or sex, arent done there.

5. The most relaxing sleep is achieved when the temperature of the room is cooler. But fresh air is also necessarybunch up with a blanket, but stay comfortable by letting a little air come in the room.
